Bright Sunshine, Big Smiles, and Beautiful Football: WFFL Edition 8

Bright sunshine, full determination, and beautiful football—what more could you ask for?

On Wednesday, 23 September, four teams took to the Knox fields for WFFL Edition 8, each eager to have another crack at glory. Well, glory was certainly on their minds, even if there are no physical trophies up for grabs in Walking Football!

The true purpose of the WFFL is simple: bring a passionate group of Walking Footballers together in mixed teams to test their skills, build friendships, and enjoy the game. That spirit was on full display this week. We were also thrilled to welcome a few new faces to the pitch, all of whom loved the experience and promised to be back for the next round.

It is clear this formula works, and everyone is already counting down to our next monthly match day. We expect the October edition to be hosted by Football Victoria at Home of the Matildas (HOTM). As soon as the details are confirmed, we will share them with you.
