What an incredible turnout for State team training on Wednesday, 15th July!
Sixteen of our elite players hit the pitch for nearly two hours of high-intensity walking football. The energy was electric, the skill on display was top-tier, and the focus was sharp as our squads continue to build momentum.
A massive thank you to our captains, Jim (Over 70s) and Paul (Over 60s), for running a seamless and highly competitive session.
Off-Pitch Highlights: Food, Fun & Friendship
The action didn't stop when the whistle blew. A huge, special thanks goes to Brian Suttie and Sue for organizing the entire day and putting on a fantastic post-training BBQ. There’s nothing better than sharing laughs, great food, and camaraderie after putting in the hard yards on the pitch. It is this incredible community spirit that defines Walking Football Victoria!
Looking Ahead: Next Session This Saturday!
The road to the WFFA Cup in October continues, and we are just getting started.
When: Saturday, 18th July
Where: Caulfield Park
What to Expect: We are anticipating a massive turnout, with well over 20 players already confirmed and eager to train.
