What a brilliant Saturday, 18 July, it was for our walking football community! The sun was out, the energy was high, and the dedication of our players was on full display.

We had a fantastic turnout today, with 22 out of our 28 players hitting the pitch. Sending a speedy recovery to our two teammates nursing injuries, and safe travels to the four currently exploring interstate and overseas—you were missed, but the squad definitely kept the momentum going in your honour!

A massive shoutout to Janette, who stepped up and joined in with the 70s team, showing exactly what our team spirit is all about. Another huge thank you goes to Ivy, who did a fantastic job refereeing the matches and keeping the games flowing smoothly.

We pushed through a series of competitive 15-minute halves, and the progress is clear. With every single whistle, our combinations are sharpening, and our fitness levels are hitting new heights.

Thank you to everyone who brought their passion and effort to the pitch today. We now look forward to more great training sessions in the coming weeks as we firmly set our sights on the WFFA Cup this October. Let's keep this momentum building!
